Creation Cocoon for Girls is a new Oakland, CA based arts education nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls by developing their individual creativity.  We focus on building skills of girls ages 8 - 18 through exposure to and development of traditional arts with taught with an urban contemporary flair including:

· Crochet / Knitting

· Creative Writing

· Bath & Body Creations

· Jewelry making, and more...

The programs are  designed to empower girls to make decisions that prevent early parenting and encourage positive academic achievement.  Each workshop includes both skill building and youth development activities to surround our girls  with a supportive environment as she explores her own budding creativity.
